AJ is an Emmy award winning designer and animator with twenty years of experience. He began his career in the 1990s focusing on traditional graphic design work, creating a wide range of print and web-based projects for a variety of companies and industries. In the mid 2000s, after having an opportunity to work on a television production, he decided to expand on his graphics design experience, earning his MFA in computer animation from the School of Visual Arts. AJ has since been creating stunning and unique 3D animations and motion graphics, as well as doing traditional graphic design projects for a variety of clients.

Presently, working with NBC Sports Group, AJ is the lead designer for Thursday Night Football on Amazon Prime, produced by NBC. Over the past decade, he has been a designer on many of NBC Sports’ largest properties and served as the lead designer for Sunday Night Football, NHL, Indy Car, and America’s Cup.

AJ excels at conceiving and developing designs and animations that tell compelling and engaging stories. He is an expert in 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, and graphic design, with decades of experience working in C4D, Maya, Redshift, Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and, most recently, has been further expanding his skill set to include Unreal Game Engine and UI/UX design. AJ is open to part-time and ongoing projects.
